Lasek

The latest form of laser treatments is a combination of laser (PRK) and lasik.

During this treatment the epithelium is carefully rolled up just like the flap created in lasil. As soon as the laser treatment is finished the epithelium is replaced.

The post-operative pain lasts for about 2 days, this is less than the PRK method (7 days).

The pain experienced with lasik lasts about 5 hours.

At Eye-Q-Vision we perform a special version of lasek. This treatment is less painful and protects the wound better against infection.
