Very few insurance companies cover refractive procedures.
Whether this is ethical or not remains the question.
Insurance companies and the government consider these procedures cosmetic…not an unavoidable.
Of course opinions vary over that matter.
Very rarely (anisometropy, uneven strengths) a patient may receive funding due to a severe medicl indication.
We will be happy to inform you further into this matter.
